The Power of Three © is a DYNAMIC and INTERACTIVE program to guide you towards a fuller and fulfilling life and be part of a collaborative TRIBE that has your back ! The sessions blend eastern philosophy, positive psychology , science-backed tools along with years of mine and Amy’s personal and professional experience. Amy and  I know we will also learn a lot from YOU through collective wisdom.

Based on the flow of the group and our weekly  discussions we have the freedom to dive deeper into certain topics.
The outline below is the proposed framework, yet there is room for flexibility!

Each session will start with a quote, short meditation, story or a thought-provoking image to lift and shift our energy from our everyday life to our Power of Three life!

Session Details
Welcome & Introduction to the Power of Three - REWIRING

This session will be an overview of the program and a chance to meet Amy, myself and your fellow Power of Three tribe members! It will prepare us for the next 7 sessions and enable you to start integrating and re-wiring  some simple power of three practices straight away.

Developing a Mountain Mindset – Character Strengths - RE-FIRING

We all have a unique set of character strengths that we can tap into to navigate change, build healthy relationships and be happier and healthier. Prior to this session you will have completed a VIA ME Character Strengths test and will have received your own personal profile. This is a great self-awareness tool that allows you to flourish by integrating your top signature strengths into everything you say and do. Knowing and embracing  your strengths is a superpower that allows you to wake-up and RE-FIRE!

RE-CHARGING

In this session we will explore energy boosters, drainers and habits that will allow you to make more conscious choices about how you spend your time, where and with whom you spend your time.  We all have 168 hours in the week, the question is do we use it wisely ? We will share and discuss some easy to implement energy habits that will benefit your mind and your body.

RE-BUILDING

The ability to bounce forward, respond and adapt swiftly  to change , stay calm and optimistic , be open-minded, flexible  and manage stress are some of the essential elements of resilience. Now more than ever it’s important to develop your resilience  muscles so you can thrive and grow with every experience. Prior to this session you will have completed a resilience quotient test ( RQ ) and will have received your personal RQ report so we can zone in on what it means to be resilient and how we can use our resilience skills to re-build all and strengthen  areas of our life.

RE-AWAKENING

Every day of your life there  are hidden opportunities for adventure  and fun !  Often we take life too seriously and play it safe ; we run on auto-pilot ;metaphorically we have fallen asleep.  We stay indoors too much, we work long hours, we put everyone else’s needs before our own, we do the same things instead of shaking things up and getting out of our comfort zone. In this session you are invited to wake up and  visualize yourself being more adventurous, doing things you have never done before. What wild adventures and fun-filled activities have you always wanted to do?  You will become a master of visualization and create a blueprint for many new fun-filled adventures in your life and business  that will soon become reality.

RE-FRESH

In this session we will explore your current stressors, identify any stress symptoms you are experiencing  and share  a range of positive coping strategies and relaxation techniques to help you  manage and neutralize excess levels of stress so that you can thrive through both the good and challenging times. You will learn how to instantly ground yourself when things are “ up in the air” and tap into your 5 senses to let go of tension so you can  move into a re-freshed  calm and focused state.

RE-SET

Prior to this session you will have received a link to the positivity ratio test so you will have a good idea about your own positivity ratio. Positive emotions boost our resilience and help us live longer, happier and healthier lives. In this session we will explore the top ten positive emotions and how we can create and tap into them to lift us out of  any downward  spirals. We will discuss how micro-moments of connection and savoring help us re-set our  emotional wellness.

RELIANCE

Over the last 8 weeks we have explored ways to free your mind, energize your body and nurture your spirit of adventure. You have learnt to rely on yourself and also benefit from the reliance you can tap into from the Power of Three tribe. You now have an even higher level of self-awareness as a result of diving deeper into the topics we have discussed. This might be the end of the on-line program however it’s the beginning of a whole new way of being and living.

In this session we will review and reflect on the sessions.

If you have enjoyed this course and want more we would love to have you join us in person for a series of daycations and staycations in the UAE and eventually around the globe.

How the Program Works

You can join the Power of Three Workshop from the comfort of your home or choose a get-away location to escape to for each session !

The 8 sessions will be hosted and facilitated by Julie Lewis & Amy Johnstone

The sessions will run for 60 minutes via a live video zoom room.The sessions will run every Monday 7-8  pm UAE time ( please check your time zone so you can join live ) You can be anywhere in the world and join us ! You will receive  post session emails with a recording and short summary  of our session . You will also have access to me via email with any questions that might arise.

  • We will connect using ZOOM
  • You will receive a link after registration ( you don’t have to have a zoom account )
  • Sessions will last approx.’ 60 -mins
  • Set time aside for each session where you won’t be disturbed
  • Make sure you have water / tea/ coffee / your favorite drink beside you
  • Invest in a special notebook or  journal and a  pen you only use for these sessions
  • Switch of your phone

About Julie

 

 

 

 

Julie is an award winning personal and professional development specialist based in Abu Dhabi. She has lived and worked  in the UAE since 1997. She is 58 years young and has an insatiable  appetite for  personal development ,nature & adventure. She climbed her first mountain at 40 and had an epiphany at the summit leading to a career change into nature -based experiential leadership programs. She holds a degree in Sports Science, is a certified stress management coach, resilience consultant, NLP and EQ Practitioner, speaker, entrepreneur, adventurer, author and recently completed a course in Positive Psychology ( University of North Carolina )  and the Science of Well-Being ( Yale University ) She has led 60 expeditions around the globe to more than 20 countries to include the Arctic and Antarctica and is passionate about helping individuals, teams and organizations unlock their highest potential and have fun in the process. Her book “ Moving Mountains-Discover the Mountain in You “ is a personal development workbook packed with easy-to action tips, tools and strategies to access your own inner mountain. Julie has experienced many highs, lows and plateaus in her business and life and is passionate about sharing the lessons learnt along the way.

About Amy

Amy Johnstone is a seasoned international communications professional and successful marketing entrepreneur who has worked with a variety of global mix-use developments & retail brands for over 17 years.

As the Founder & Managing Director of Verve Communications in Dubai UAE, Amy works with a variety of local and international businesses to navigate the current fast-moving environment to deliver strategic design and communications programs in the virtual and physical world.

Prior to Verve, Amy worked as an International Marketing Director, delivering global marketing campaigns with Westfield Developments & Gulf Related, on several iconic retail & mixed-use developments in key retail markets including, Australia, America, United Kingdom & Middle East.

Leveraging her local & global experience, Amy also conducts mentoring, coaching & training sessions with individuals who are looking to start-up or evolve their business & communications techniques, helping them to navigate change and transform their business practices.

Following on from the Summer on-line series we will be offering unique opportunities to connect in person. When the weather cools down it’s  time to get outside and off-line! Our outdoor Power of Three programs will give YOU the chance to enjoy the diverse beauty of Abu Dhabi and deepen YOUR connection to people, nature and practices for optimal well-being. The experiences will be nature based so you can  develop new skills, put your strengths and resilience into action, boost  your courage and confidence and have fun with the support of a strong TRIBE.

If you don’t live in the UAE think about flying over and joining us ! If this is not an option and you would love to have a Power of Three experience in your own country or a country you have always  wanted to visit please let us know and we will do our best to make it happen.

The Ghaf Tree is the National Tree of the United Arab Emirates where I have lived and worked for the last 20 years.

The Ghaf is a drought tolerant, evergreen tree and is possibly the sturdiest plant of the harsh desert environment. These qualities make it the perfect tree to be associated with our programs.
