Why Resilience?

We all experience setbacks, unexpected changes and pressure at various stages of our lives. I know because I speak from first-hand experience  in business, adventures and life.

For some this can cause havoc with their well-being and ability to live a full and fulfilling life.

Others  manage to take the difficult experiences in their stride and emerge stronger and wiser. They have built a level of resilience that makes it easier to respond, adapt, rewire, stay calm and optimistic as they bounce forward higher and stronger.

Good News!

Resilience is a learnable skill and can be developed at any age or stage of your life, regardless of the circumstances you find yourself in. Research shows that balancing a healthy level of  self-reliance with an eco-system of external support is a great way to super-charge your resilience. So we created the Resilience ReCharge Circle!

What is it?

The Resilience Recharge  Circle is an initiative to help you:

  1. Get moving when you feel stuck
  2. Connect and be part of a supportive network
  3. Gain different perspectives when you are faced with difficult challenges / decisions
  4. Share knowledge, experiences , challenges and success stories
  5. Discover new ways to boost resilience, manage stress and life a full and fulfilling life no matter what is going on around you.
  6. Stay healthy – mentally, physically & emotionally.
  7. Step back, see the big picture then move forward with courage and confidence

Sessions will be kept simple, have various themes, include tools and content to boost your resilience and well-being along with ample time to share and discuss your experiences and challenges.

WHEN?

The sessions will run on the third Wednesday  of every month with the first one starting on  Wednesday  17th February  2021   5.30 pm UAE time ( please check your country time zone )

Recurring dates :  Wednesday’s

17th March | 21st April | 19th May | 16th June  2021

Replays will be available within 24 hours of the live session.

HOW?

The Resilience Recharge  Circle will be facilitated by Julie Lewis and Laura Everest  via Zoom on the 3rd Wednesday of every month.

When you choose to become a member  of the circle you will find two joining options

  1. A Recurring monthly membership option ( $25 )
  2. A one off Annual membership ( $240 to include 12 monthly session,
    3 self-awareness tools and  30 minute  one-to one session with Julie )

Once you have signed up the zoom link will be shared to the email you have registered with.

The Circle will be open to a maximum of 16 participants per session to ensure personal attention and  good diverse group dynamics. The circle is open to women and men.

ABOUT LAURA

Laura has spent more than three decades successfully leading, training and elevating leaders and large teams. She has spent the last 16 years in the Middle East working with individuals and teams as a Gallup Strengths Coach and Master of Resilience. Laura’s academic studies have been backed by some very tough first-hand personal experiences giving here a leading edge when it comes to empowering individuals and teams to succeed during challenging and changing times. Seven years ago she was hit by a car when she out out running. She sustained serious injuries and was advised she may never walk again. 17 major surgeries later ( with more ahead ) she is now fully active ( though not able to run ) and has learnt how to thrive at every stage of her recovery using her strengths , eternal optimism and endless energy. I am super excited to be teaming up with Laura to share our extensive experience based, science backed insights on how best to leverage your strengths and build rock solid resilience so that you can flourish regardless of external circumstances.
